Come on out (or in?) and play some basketball, volleyball, indoor soccer, and dodgeball! Anyone ages 18-39 is welcome to join us for some friendly competition followed by food, drinks, and fellowship at a local restaurant to meet new people and make lasting friends! Hope to see you there. :)
All Saints Day Mass and Bowling Sports Night: Friday, November 1st, 7:00 pm - 9:30pm @ St. Francis De Sales Church and Bowling Center, 350, Saint Paul, MN 55103 (map).
Oh man, a Holy Day on a Friday? Don't let that cramp your Friday night plans! Join us for an alternative to our typical Sports Night: Mass at 6:30 followed by a night of bowling at St. Francis Bowling Center at 426 S Osceola Ave. from 7:30-9:30. We have the lanes reserved just for this Cathedral Young Adults event.
The cost is $10 per person to cover the rental fees for the bowling lanes and shoes if needed, so please bring cash.
Also, you can get there as early as 7:15 if you're going to Mass earlier in the day to get settled and start bowling right at 7:30!
Any young adult ages 18-39 is welcome to join us, and why not try to hit the maximum number of 50 that the facility can hold?! We will also be continuing the fun and fellowship at a local restaurant after, so we hope that you can come on out that night!
Service Event- Canned Food Drive: October 23rd, 7:00pm - 8:00pm @ Cathedral of Saint Paul, 239 Selby Ave, Saint Paul, Minnesota 55102 (map).
Join us in supporting the Saint Paul Second Harvest Heartland food shelf.
We will walk the neighborhood surrounding the Cathedral and collect canned food items. Residence will be notified of our food drive ahead of time and will set their donations out on the front step for us to pick up (no knocking on doors required). Please feel free to bring a few canned goods of your own to donate.
We will meet in the Cathedral Parking lot and stroll through the neighborhood as a group. After our collection is complete all are welcome to join us at a nearby restaurant for continued fellowship over food and drink.

Service Event- Playing with the Kids at Mary's Place: Wednesday, November 6th. 11:00 am - 12:30pm @ Mary's Place, 401 North 7th Street, Minneapolis, MN 55405 (map).
Join the Cathedral Young Adults at Mary’s Place to supervise and play with the children in their indoor playground. There is also an area for children to do crafts or coloring.
If you have any craft supplies, coloring books/crayons, playing cards etc. you would like to bring and do with the children that would be welcomed.
We’ll meet in the lobby at 6:30 pm.
If you need to arrive at the event late please contact me and let me know so I can inform the front desk and they will direct you to the play room.
Mary’s Place offers transitional apartments for homeless families with children. The building was named after and dedicated to the Blessed Mother Mary. This beautiful complex was born out of love, compassion, and concern for women and children in poverty.
Service Event Coffee and Donuts: Every 3rd Sunday of the month, 11:00 am - 12:30pm @ Cathedral of Saint Paul, 239 Selby Ave, Saint Paul, Minnesota 55102 (map).
Come down to Hayden Hall on the 3rd Sunday of each month to help serve coffee and donuts to the parishioners. It’s an easy and great way to share in fellowship while serving the community. Just come downstairs to Hayden Hall immediately after the 10 am Mass is finished.
Barn Dance 2019: Saturday, November 9th, 6:30 pm -9:30pm @ Cathedral of Saint Paul, 239 Selby Ave, Saint Paul, Minnesota 55102 (map).
Join the Cathedral Young Adults for our annual Barn Dance held in Hayden Hall (basement of the Cathedral). Doors open at 6:30 pm. A professional square dance caller will be teaching the basics of square dancing, line dancing and reels. No partners or dance experience required! Other dances such as swing, polka and waltz will be included throughout the night. All ages welcome. Light snacks will be provided.
